Characteristics

Leaf 70–150 × 3 mm. Flower stem 150–300 mm tall, 1-or 2-flowered. Flowers 50–100 mm across, brownish yellow with dark brown lines; sepals and petals with long, dark brown, filamentous tips. Dorsal sepal erect, 45–75 × 2–3 mm. Lateral sepals decurved to hanging, 45–80 × 3–5 mm. Petals spreading horizontally then decurved to hanging, 45–60 × 2.5–3 mm. Labellum 12–17 × 8–12 mm, cream to yellow with dark brown, radiating lines breaking up into spots and blotches; margins with short, brownish yellow teeth; tip recurved. Calli anvil-shaped, brownish yellow, 8–14 pairs in 2 rows. Column 10–12 × 4–6 mm, reddish.
