Characteristics

Leaf 70–150 × 1–3.5 mm. Flower stem 120–200 mm tall, 1–2 mm thick, 1–3-flowered. Flowers 12–16 × 20–25 mm, white or pinkish, externally pale with scattered greenish glands; labellum wholly white or with red to purple markings; calli yellow to purple; midlobe white with red or purple markings; column white or greenish, sometimes with red or purple markings. Dorsal sepal 11–13 × 3 mm. Lateral sepals 14–16 × 2.5–3 mm, divergent. Petals 12–14 × 3 mm, often drooping, sharply pointed. Labellum 5–6.5 × 4–5 mm, obscurely 3-lobed; lateral lobes entire, rounded; midlobe recurved, triangular when flattened, c. 3–3.5 × 3.5 mm, with c. 8 pairs purple-headed, marginal teeth to 5 mm long. Basal calli 4, c. 1.4 mm long, yellow; lamina calli c. 1.2 mm long, white, in 4 rows nearly to labellum apex; distal calli stalkless and crowded. Column 6.5–7.5 × 3 mm.
