Characteristics

Leaf 100–180 × 6–8 mm. Flower stem 200–350 mm tall, 1-or 2-flowered. Flowers 30–50 mm across, whitish to pale yellowish cream with maroon suffusions and markings; sepals with thin, yellowish brown clubs 6–10 mm long; petals lacking clubs. Dorsal sepal erect, 30–45 × 2–2.5 mm. Lateral sepals spreading then downswept, 35–40 × 3–3.5 mm, divergent. Petals obliquely decurved, 30–35 × 2.5–3 mm. Labellum projecting prominently forwards, 18–22 × 11–13 mm, whitish with a pink tip; margins with 8–11 pairs of spreading, linear teeth to 4 mm long; tip sharply recurved. Basal calli 10–12, c. 1 mm long, linear, erect. Lamina calli to 1.5 mm long, pink, in 4 rows onto base of midlobe. Column 12–15 × 6–8 mm, creamy yellow; basal glands c. 1.3 mm long, ovoid, yellow.
