Characteristics

Leaf 80–200 × 5–15 mm. Flower stem 200–450 mm tall, 1–3-flowered. Flowers 60–120 mm across, pale yellow or brownish with red suffusions and markings; sepals and petals with long, relatively thick, brown clubs 20–75 × 1 mm. Dorsal sepal erect, 40–100 × 2.5–3 mm. Lateral sepals spreading to obliquely decurved, 40–100 × 3–6 mm, divergent. Petals similarly arranged, 40–85 × 2–4mm. Labellum 17–26 × 10–15 mm, white with maroon apex; margins with 11–13 pairs of erect to spreading linear teeth to 9 mm long; tip recurved. Basal calli 6–8, c. 1.8 mm long, slender, erect. Lamina calli to 2 mm long, maroon, in 4 or 6 rows nearly to labellum apex. Column 15–20 × 9–12 mm, broadly winged, creamy yellow with red markings; basal glands c. 2 mm long, ovoid, yellow.
