Characteristics

Leaf linear, 80–160 × 6–11 mm. Flower stem 140–180 mm long, 1–4-flowered, branched divaricately, each flower held distantly at an angle from the others. Flowers 40–50 mm across, creamy yellow with faint red markings; sepals and petals with short, yellowish brown, densely glandular acuminate tips (no clubs). Dorsal sepal erect and incurved, 25–40 × 1–2 mm. Lateral sepals decurved to drooping, 30–45 × 3–4 mm, tips often crossing. Petals similarly arranged, 25–30 × 2.5–3 mm, tips often incurved. Labellum stiffly hinged, appearing broadly heart-shaped, projecting forwards, 12–17 × 8–10 mm, white; margins with short, sparse, forward-facing, white or brown teeth. Calli to 1 mm long, red with yellow tips, in 4 or 6 rows extending halfway to labellum apex. Column 12–14 × 5–7 mm, cream with pale red markings.
