Characteristics

Leaf 80–200 × 5–15 mm. Flower stem 300–600 mm tall, 1-or 2-flowered. Flowers 50–100 mm across, pale pink and white; sepals with thin to thick, greyish pink to brownish clubs 20–70 mm long; petals lacking clubs. Dorsal sepal erect, 65–100 × 3–4 mm. Lateral sepals stiffly downcurved, 70–120 × 5–9 mm, divergent. Petals nearly horizontal, 40–55 × 3.5–5 mm. Labellum 20–25 × 10–15 mm, white with pink stripes; margins with 8–12 pairs of spreading, relatively thick, linear, white or pink teeth to 7 mm long; tip recurved. Calli to 2 mm long, pink, in 4 or 6 widely spaced rows onto midlobe. Column 18–20 × 8–12 mm, broadly winged, cream with pink markings.
