Leaf 100–200 × 5–10 mm. Flower stem 200–400 mm tall, 1-or 2-flowered. Flowers 50–100 mm across, cream to creamy yellow with red markings; sepals and petals with thin, brown clubs 5–35 mm long. Dorsal sepal erect, 50–70 × 2–3 mm. Lateral sepals divergent, 55–75 × 4–6 mm, stiffly and obliquely decurved. Petals similarly arranged, 35–65 × 2–4 mm. Labellum 18–25 × 11–15 mm, white or yellowish, sometimes with red lines and markings; margins with thin teeth to 8 mm long; tip recurved. Basal calli 4–6, c. 2 mm long, erect. Lamina calli to 2 mm long, pink, in 4 rows onto midlobe. Column 18–20 × 6–10 mm, translucent creamy yellow with pink markings; basal glands c. 2 mm long, ellipsoid, yellow.
Highly localised and rare; growing in dense, low, coastal scrub dominated by Melaleuca; on margins of winter-wet swamps and run-off sites around granite outcrops.
