Characteristics

Leaf 120–200 × 7–10 mm. Flower stem 250–400 mm tall, 1–3-flowered. Flowers 70–120 mm across, cream with bright pink suffusions and markings; sepals and petals with thin, light brown clubs 10–70 mm long. Dorsal sepal erect, 35–100 × 1.5–4 mm. Lateral sepals downcurved, 35–100 × 3–7 mm, divergent. Petals arranged similarly, 30–90 × 2–4 mm. Labellum 17–27 × 10–15 mm, pink with a dark maroon apex; margins with thin linear teeth to 8 mm long; tip recurved. Calli to 2 mm long, maroon, in 4 or 6 rows nearly to labellum apex. Column 15–22 × 6–10 mm, translucent reddish.
