Characteristics

Leaf 100–300 × 10–15 mm. Flower stem 300–600 mm long, 1–3-flowered. Flowers 40–50 mm across, pale yellowish green with reddish suffusions and markings; sepals and petals with thick, furrowed, brown to yellow, flattish clubs 6–25 mm long (petal clubs shorter than sepal clubs). Dorsal sepal erect, 30–45 × 2–3 mm. Lateral sepals obliquely decurved to downswept, 30–45 × 4–6 mm, nearly parallel. Petals similarly arranged, 25–35 × 2–3 mm. Labellum 12–14 × 10–12 mm, yellowish green with a dark maroon apex; central margins with linear teeth to 4 mm long; tip recurved. Basal calli 4, c. 1.5 mm long, thin, erect. Lamina calli to 1 mm long, maroon, densely packed in 4 closely spaced rows. Column 12–14 × 6–8 mm, broadly winged, yellowish with red markings; basal glands c. 2 mm long, club-like, yellow with a reddish stalk.
