Characteristics

Leaf ground-hugging, 40–80 × 4–10 mm. Flower stem 80–250 mm tall, 1-flowered. Flower 25–40 × 25–40 mm, cream to greenish yellow with red stripes and markings. Dorsal sepal recurved, 20–30 × 2–3 mm. Lateral sepals divergent, 18–25 × 2.5–6 mm, obliquely decurved. Petals obliquely decurved, 15–24 × 1.5–2 mm, tips incurved. Labellum stiffly hinged, attached to a column foot 3–4 mm long; false abdomen 10–15 × 3–7 mm, cream to greenish yellow with dark red hairs, strongly incurved near top of ovary (semicircular in profile); false head 2–3 mm across, flanked by 2 column-like calli to 2 mm long. Column 12–14 × 6–8 mm, greenish with red markings.
