Characteristics

Leaf 110–220 × 4–8 mm, sparsely hairy. Flower stem 150–300 mm tall, 2–3.5 mm thick, 1–5-flowered. Flowers 16–20 × 25–32 mm, with a strong, musky scent, white internally, externally greenish brown or reddish brown; labellum wholly white or white to red with purple markings; calli yellow or purple; column white or greenish, sometimes with red or purple markings. Dorsal sepal 13–16 × 5–6 mm. Lateral sepals 13–16 × 5–6 mm. Petals 12–14 × 4 mm, stiffly spreading, shortly pointed. Labellum 7.5–9 × 6–7 mm, very obscurely 3-lobed; lateral lobes erect, curved to angular, entire; midlobe broadly triangular, c. 4.5 × 4.5 mm, margins recurved, with 10–14 pairs of broad white or purplish teeth 2–3 mm long. Basal calli 4 or 6, c. 1 mm long; lamina calli c. 0.7 mm long, crowded, in 4 rows extending well onto midlobe. Column 7–8 × 3–4 mm, broadly winged.
