Characteristics

Leaf 50–100 × 2–4 mm. Flower stem 120–300 mm tall, 1–3-flowered. Flowers 60–100 mm across, cream with red lines and markings (sometimes mostly reddish); sepals and petals with long, brown, filamentous tips. Dorsal sepal erect, 50–100 × 1.5–2 mm. Lateral sepals obliquely and stiffly decurved, 50–100 × 2–3 mm. Petals obliquely erect to horizontal then decurved, 50–95 × 2–2.5 mm. Labellum 8–12 × 5.5–7 mm, cream with pale markings; margins with short, broad, blunt teeth. Calli anvil-shaped, cream, 7–12 pairs in 2 rows. Column 8–10 × 3–4 mm, pink or cream.
