Characteristics

Leaf 80–150 × 10–15 mm. Flower stem 250–350 mm tall, 1-or 2-flowered. Flowers 70–100 mm across, commonly creamy white to yellowish, less commonly pinkish with dark red lines; sepals and petals with densely glandular, brown or reddish brown tips (no clubs). Dorsal sepal erect, 60–80 × 2.5–3.5 mm. Lateral sepals obliquely decurved to drooping, 60–80 × 3.5–5.5 mm, divergent. Petals similarly arranged, 40–60 × 3–4 mm. Labellum 12–20 × 7–11 mm, white to cream, often with a maroon apex; margins with numerous reddish teeth to 2 mm long; tip recurved. Basal calli 4, c. 1.5 mm long, erect. Lamina calli to 1.5 mm long, reddish, in 4 or 6 rows nearly to labellum apex. Column 12–14 × 6–6.5 mm, translucent with reddish markings; basal glands c. 1.3 mm long, ovoid, yellow.
