Characteristics

Leaf 150–300 × 15–20 mm. Flower stem 350–700 mm tall, 1–3-flowered. Flowers 60–100 mm across, pale green, reddish yellow with red suffusions and markings; sepals with thick brown clubs 10–35 mm long; petals lacking clubs. Dorsal sepal erect, 40–70 × 2–5 mm. Lateral sepals obliquely downcurved, 40–70 × 6–9 mm, divergent. Petals spreading, downcurved or upswept, 35–45 × 3–4 mm. Labellum 18–25 × 12–18 mm, yellowish with a maroon apex; margins with numerous, erect to spreading, linear, glandular teeth (not forked) to 8 mm long; tip recurved. Basal calli 10–12, c. 2 mm long, erect. Lamina calli to 2 mm long, maroon, in 4 or 6 rows nearly to labellum apex. Column 17–22 × 8–10 mm, broadly winged, creamy yellow with red markings; basal glands c. 3 mm long, narrowly elliptical, yellow.
