Caladenia perangusta A.P.Br. & G.Brockman

Plants solitary or in tufts. Leaf linear, 50–160 × 3–5 mm. Flower stem 170–370 mm long, 1-or 2-flowered. Flowers 50–60 mm across, red, cream, creamy yellow, or pale yellow with red markings; lateral sepals and petals narrow, with long, very thin, brownish red, densely glandular, filamentous tips. Dorsal sepal erect, 60–80 × 0.5–1 mm. Lateral sepals spreading near base then pendulous, 60–80 × 1–2 mm. Petals similarly arranged, 50–70 × 1–1.5 mm. Labellum unusually small, stiffly hinged, 5–6 × 3–4 mm, cream to red with prominent darker red stripes and markings; margins with numerous short, red, blunt teeth; tip recurved. Calli anvil-shaped, to 1 mm long, cream with red markings, in 2 rows. Column 4–5 × 1–2 mm, cream to red.

Highly localised and rare; occurs in a few small populations growing among shrubs and grasstrees in wandoo woodland, in laterite and sandy clay soils.
