Characteristics

Leaf 100–300 × 6–10 mm. Flower stem 350–900 mm tall, 1–4-flowered. Flowers 50–90 mm across, bright greenish yellow, sometimes with red suffusions and markings; sepals with thick, yellowish brown clubs 15–25 mm long; petals lacking clubs. Dorsal sepal erect, 50–70 × 4–5 mm. Lateral sepals stiffly and obliquely decurved, 55–65 × 6–8 mm, nearly parallel. Petals upswept, 35–45 × 4.5–5 mm. Labellum 22–30 × 15–20 mm, greenish yellow with maroon apex; margins with erect to spreading yellowish teeth to 10 mm long; tip recurved. Calli to 3 mm long, red, in 4 rows nearly to labellum apex. Column 22–25 × 13–15, broadly winged, translucent greenish yellow with red markings.
