Characteristics

Leaf 30–60 × 2 mm. Flower stem 40–100 mm tall, relatively thick, 1-flowered. Flowers 5–8 × 8–10 mm, pink, centre usually whitish, externally brownish pink; labellum white or pink with narrow red bars, midlobe cream to pale yellow; calli yellow; column green with red bars. Tepals with bluntly rounded tips. Dorsal sepal 5.5–7 × 2.5–2.8 mm, incurved (often strongly). Lateral sepals partly to wholly fused, 5.5–7 × 2–2.5 mm. Petals 5–6 × 2 mm. Labellum 4–5 × 4–5 mm; lateral lobes entire, flanking column; midlobe porrect, entire or with a few short, yellow, marginal teeth. Calli in 2 rows nearly to base of midlobe. Column c. 4 × 2 mm, narrowly winged.
