Characteristics

Leaf 120–180 × 15–20 mm. Flower stem 200–450 mm tall, 1-or 2-flowered. Flowers 40–60 mm across, greenish to yellow, often heavily marked with red; sepals with moderately thick, brown to yellow clubs 2–10 × 1.5 mm; petals lacking clubs. Dorsal sepal erect, 30–40 × 2.5–3.5 mm. Lateral sepals stiffly decurved, 25–40 × 4–7 mm, closely parallel or crossing. Petals stiffly decurved, 20–30 × 3–3.5 mm. Labellum 14–16 × 10–11 mm, greenish yellow and white with a maroon apex; margins with spreading, greenish, papillate teeth to 2 mm long; tip recurved. Basal calli 6–8, c. 2 mm long, erect, club-like. Lamina calli to 2 mm long, maroon, in 4 closely placed rows. Column 14–17 × 8–10 mm, translucent yellowish with red markings; basal glands c. 1.5 mm long, narrowly club-shaped, yellow with a red stalk.
