Leaf 140–220 × 13–15 mm. Flower stem 200–400 mm tall, 1-or 2-flowered. Flowers 35–45 mm across, yellowish green, sometimes yellow; sepals with thick, dark brown to blackish clubs 8–10 × 1 mm; petals lacking clubs. Dorsal sepal erect, 30–45 × 3–3.5 mm. Lateral sepals stiffly spreading with drooping tips, 30–45 × 5.5–7.5 mm, divergent. Petals similarly arranged, 25–30 × 3–4 mm. Labellum 12–15 × 10–12 mm, greenish cream; margins with numerous pairs of thick, reddish or brownish teeth to 2 mm long; tip recurved. Basal calli c. 0.8 mm long, erect, pale yellow. Lamina calli to 1 mm long, reddish, in 4 or 6 well spaced rows onto base of midlobe. Column 14–16 × 4.5–5 mm, transparent with numerous red markings; basal glands c. 2.2 mm long, club-shaped, shiny yellow.
Highly localised and rare; found in dense coastal scrub, growing among moss and litter under mallee eucalypts and tall shrubs on stabilised dunes in freely draining, calcareous sand; less commonly among sedges on more exposed coastal swales.
