Characteristics

Leaf 60–150 × 3–5 mm. Flower stem 120–300 mm tall, 1–3-flowered. Flowers 20–30 mm across, pale yellow to greenish with red lines and markings, sometimes stained with red; sepals with thick, yellowish brown clubs 3–4 mm long; petals with short, recurved or coiled tips. Sepals and petals arranged like a crucifix. Dorsal sepal erect to recurved, 16–23 × 1.5–2.5 mm. Lateral sepals projecting obliquely forwards, 16–23 × 1.5–2 mm. Petals obliquely spreading, 15–20 × 1.5–2 mm. Labellum 8–11 × 13–16 mm, greenish yellow to yellow; margins entire; apex with small, reddish, recurved lobe. Calli clubbed, dark reddish purple to black, glossy, to 1.5 mm long, in dense central band, although sometimes reduced to a basal cluster and a few small, central calli.
