Leaf 40–130 × 4–8 mm. Flower stem 150–350 mm tall, 1-or 2-flowered. Flowers 50–70 mm across, cream to white with pale reddish lines; sepals and petals with very thin, dark grey to blackish tips (no clubs). Dorsal sepal 30–60 × 2–3 mm. Lateral sepals spreading to obliquely decurved, 30–60 × 3.5–5 mm, divergent. Petals similarly arranged, 25–50 × 2.5–3.5 mm. Labellum 13–18 × 7–9 mm, white to cream, rarely with a maroon apex; margins with numerous reddish to purplish teeth to 1 mm long; tip recurved. Basal calli 4–6, c. 1 mm long, erect. Lamina calli to 1 mm long, reddish to purplish, in 4 or 6 rows onto base of midlobe. Column 10–12 × 5–6 mm, translucent with reddish markings; basal glands c. 1.2 mm long, ovoid, yellow.
Localised and rare; most plants found at one site, where it grows among dense tussocks of sagg (Lomandra longifolia) in sparse, old-growth woodland dominated by large ribbon gums in freely draining, sandy loam.
