Characteristics

Leaf 170–250 × 2.5–3.5 mm, broadly linear, stiff, sparsely hairy. Flower stem 250–350 mm tall, relatively thick, 1–3-flowered. Flowers 30–40 × 25–40 mm, bright pink, occasionally paler, externally brownish pink; labellum white to pink with reddish bars, midlobe yellowish to orange; calli cream to yellow; column green with broad, red bars. Dorsal sepal 12–17 × 3.5–4.5 mm, erect or recurved. Lateral sepals 15–20 × 4–6 mm. Petals 10–16 × 3–4.5 mm. Labellum 7–10 × 7–9.5 mm; lateral lobes large, entire; midlobe c. 4 mm long, recurved, with 12–14 slender marginal teeth. Basal calli 4–6, c. 1.2 mm long, reddish; lamina calli c. 1 mm long, clubbed, in 2 rows to base of midlobe. Column 6.5–7.5 × 3.5–4.5 mm.
