Characteristics

Leaf ovate-lanceolate, 50–120 × 10–15 mm. Flower stem 80–200 mm tall, slender, 1-or 2-flowered. Flowers 15–20 mm across, cream to yellowish green with red central stripes and suffusions; sepals and petals without clubs (sepals often with a loose terminal cluster of glands on a thickened tip). Dorsal sepal incurved, 15–25 × 2–4 mm. Lateral sepals decurved close to or touching ovary, 15–25 × 2–4 mm, nearly parallel. Petals decurved close to ovary, 12–20 × 1.5–3 mm, tips often hooked inwards. Labellum delicately hinged, 10–12 × 10–12 mm, pale green with maroon apex; margins with numerous green or red, blunt teeth to 1 mm long; tip recurved. Basal calli c. 3 mm long. Lamina calli to 1.5 mm long, strongly clubbed, blackish red, in 4 congested rows onto base of midlobe. Column 9–12 × 4–5 mm, translucent with red markings; basal glands c. 1.5 mm long, yellow with red stalk.
