Leaf 60–150 × 2–4 mm, often withered at flowering. Flower stem 150–250 mm tall, 1–3-flowered. Flowers 60–90 mm across, pale lemon yellow with dark red lines and markings; sepals and petals with long, brown, filamentous tips. Dorsal sepal erect, 60–80 × 2–2.5 mm. Lateral sepals obliquely and stiffly decurved, 60–80 × 2.5–3 mm. Petals obliquely erect to pendulous, 50–75 × 2–3 mm. Labellum 12–15 × 7–9 mm, white or pale yellow with red, radiating lines that break up into spots and blotches; margins with short, widely spaced, blunt teeth; tip recurved. Calli anvil-shaped, cream to yellow, 6–12 pairs in 2 rows. Column 10–12 × 3–4 mm, pale yellow with red markings.
