Characteristics

Leaf 60–160 × 1.5–3 mm, sparsely hairy. Flower stem 80–130 mm tall, 1–3-flowered. Flowers 10–15 × 22–27 mm, with a musky scent most noticeable on hot days, cream to white internally, externally yellowish brown to brown; labellum white with a purple apex; calli cream or purplish; column greenish with purple markings. Dorsal sepal 9–13 × 3–3.5 mm. Lateral sepals 14–16 × 3–4 mm. Petals 12–15 × 3–3.5 mm, stiffly spreading. Labellum 7–8.5 × 4–6 mm, very obscurely 3-lobed; margins erect with numerous white or purplish teeth; midlobe recurved, with shorter, narrow marginal teeth. Calli crowded, in 4 rows onto apex of midlobe; basal calli white; distal calli purplish. Column 6–7 × 2.5–3 mm, broadly winged.
