Characteristics

Leaf 150–200 × 5–8 mm. Flower stem 250–400 mm tall, 1–4-flowered. Flowers 50–70 mm across, pale greenish yellow with some pink to red markings; sepals with narrow, sparsely glandular, brown clubs 5–14 mm long; petals lacking clubs. Dorsal sepal erect, 40–50 × 2.5–3 mm. Lateral sepals spreading horizontally with decurved tips, 45–50 × 3–7 mm, widely divergent. Petals spreading horizontally to obliquely downcurved, 35–40 × 2.5–3 mm. Labellum 17–22 × 0–14 mm, greenish yellow with red, radiating stripes and a maroon apex; margins with 8–12 pairs of red teeth to 4 mm long; tip recurved. Basal calli 4, c. 1.5 mm long, thin. Lamina calli to 1.5 mm long, mostly maroon, in 4 rows to base of midlobe. Column 15–18 × 6–9 mm, greenish yellow with red markings; basal glands c. 1.5 mm long, ovoid, yellow.
