Characteristics

Leaf 50–150 × 2–6 mm. Flower stem 100–200 mm tall, 1-or 2-flowered. Flowers 10–20 mm across, pale greenish yellow with dark red to purple markings; sepals with pointed tips or rarely with dark brown clubs 1–2 mm long; petals with short, recurved or coiled tips. Dorsal sepal erect, 15–20 × 2–3 mm. Lateral sepals stiffly decurved, 15–20 × 3–4 mm. Petals spreading to decurved, 10–15 × 2–2.5 mm. Labellum 10–12 × 8–12 mm, pale greenish with faint, red, radiating lines; margins entire; apex with small, dark red, recurved lobe. Calli clubbed, purplish, fused at base, to 2 mm long, in dense, central, brush-like band. Column 10–12 × 6–8 mm, greenish with red markings.
