Plants usually in tufts. Leaf 80–200 × 3–5 mm. Flower stem 150–250 mm tall, 1–3-flowered. Flowers 70–100 mm across, pale yellow to bright yellow with brown markings; sepals and petals with contrasting, short, dark, filamentous tips. Dorsal sepal erect, 30–60 × 2–2.5 mm. Lateral sepals obliquely decurved, 40–60 × 2.5–3 mm. Petals horizontal to obliquely erect, 30–50 × 2–3 mm. Labellum 10–15 × 7–10 mm, cream to pale yellow with brown to reddish, radiating lines breaking up into spots and blotches; margins with short, forward-facing teeth. Calli anvil-shaped, cream, shiny, 8–14 pairs in 2 rows. Column 10–12 × 4–6 mm, creamy yellow with brown markings.
