Characteristics

Leaf 60–120 × 5–7 mm. Flower stem 150–250 mm tall, 1-flowered. Flowers 50–80 mm across, creamy to greenish cream or pale yellow; sepals and petals with long, moderately thick, dark brown to black, glandular tips (no clubs). Dorsal sepal erect, 55–70 × 3–4.5 mm. Lateral sepals stiffly decurved, 40–70 × 4–5 mm, widely divergent. Petals spreading to stiffly decurved, 35–55 × 2–3 mm. Labellum 13–17 × 8–10 mm, cream or creamy yellow; margins with 7–12 pairs of cream to reddish, broad-tipped teeth to 2 mm long; tip recurved. Basal calli 8–10, crowded, c. 1 mm long, creamy yellow. Lamina calli to 1.3 mm long, cream, yellow or reddish, in 4 or 6 rows almost to labellum apex. Column 13–15 × 4.5–5.5 mm, translucent with red markings; basal glands c. 1.2 mm long, obovoid, yellow with red or yellow hairs.
