Characteristics

Annual herb to 30 cm tall erect, glaucous and glabrous. Leaves pinnatisect, to 6 cm long, with 3–6 linear pinnae; lateral pinnae to 2 cm long, terminal pinna to 4 cm long. Inflorescence an elongated raceme. Sepals 4–5 mm long, the lateral ones saccate. Petals narrowly linear to lanceolate, to 15 mm long, greenish yellow, the claw pale. Staminal filaments variable, the median sometimes fused. Style 1 mm long; stigma bilobed. Silicula obovate, 11 mm long, 6 mm wide, obtuse to notched; valves flattened boat-shaped; midvein conspicuous; septum narrow; pedicels to 5 mm long, erect. Seeds 1–1.5 mm long, ellipsoidal, approximately 70 per locule, mucous.
