Origin: in Encinitas, Calif., by Susan Hubbell, Rancho Leucadia Nursery. Introd. in 1931 as Hubbell by this Nursery; later introd. as Suebelle by Mr. C. Tanner. Tree: everbearing. Fruit: smooth; round; 2 to 6 oz; flesh custard-like, melting; no ginger taste in skin.
