Characteristics

Perennial herb, much branched, many parts glandular-pubescent. Stems erect to sprawling, up to 600 mm long. Leaves opposite but alternate near apex, ovate to rhomboid, petiolate or ± sessile, mostly irregularly toothed. Flowers many, 1 or 2(3) in a cymule, in upper leaf axils, in racemes or panicles. Corolla: tube 7.5-12.0 mm long, yellow or orange; lobes white or sometimes light mauve. Flowering time all year.
