Characteristics

Tufted perennial, less than 15 cm tall; stems with sparse, crisped hairs. Leaves oblong in outline; stipules lanceolate 1.5-2.5 mm long; petiole 3-5 mm long, gland with short, thick stipe 0.2-0.3 mm long; head 0.3-0.5 mm diam., a second smaller gland sometimes present; rachis 1.5-3 cm long; leaflets 9-14 pairs, narrowly oblong, 4-9 mm long, 1-1.7 mm wide, sometimes discolorous, some long, appressed hairs below. Inflorescence slightly supra-axillary, 1-flowered; pedicels 18-25 mm long. Sepals c. as long as petals. Petals 4.5-6 mm long. Stamens (?)4; anthers c. 4 mm long. Ovary pubescent; style flared at tip. Pod 3-4 cm long, 3.5-4 mm wide, sparsely pubescent.
