Tufted perennial to 30 cm tall; stems with sparse, crisped or occasionally appressed or longer curved hairs. Leaves ovate in outline; stipules 1.5-4.5 mm long; petiole 1.5-3.5 mm long; gland with slender stipe 0.2-0.7 mm long; head 0.2-0.4 mm diam., rarely a second smaller gland on rachis; rachis 10-20 mm long; leaflets 6-12 pairs, oblong-lanceolate, 5-9 mm long, 0.8-1.8 mm wide, glabrous or with crisped hairs beneath; venation usually prominent beneath. Inflorescence axillary, 1-flowered; pedicel 10-30 mm long. Sepals somewhat shorter than petals. Petals 5.5-10 mm long. Stamens 5; anthers 3.5-4.5 mm long. Ovary appressed-pubescent; style slender, not flared. Pod linear, to 3.3 cm long, 2.5-3 mm wide, sparsely appressed-pubescent.
