Leaf-blades elliptic, 1.2–4.5 cm. long, 0.5–3.2 cm. wide, bluntly acute at the apex, cuneate at the base, sparsely to densely hairy on both surfaces or practically glabrous save for the margins; 3–6 lateral nerves clearly visible on each side; petiole 3–9 mm. long, pubescent or densely hairy; stipule sheath 1 mm. long, divided into 3–5 lobes 0.5–1.7 mm. long, the colleters distinctly capitate.. Pedicels 1.5–6 mm. long, glabrescent to hairy.. Calyx-tube 1.8–2.8 mm. long, glabrous or hairy; lobes of varying sizes, the smallest 7–10 mm. long, 1.5–2 mm. wide, intermediates 1.1–1.3 cm. long, 2.5–3.5 mm. wide, and largest 1.3–1.7 cm. long, 3.8–4.5 mm. wide, densely pubescent or glabrescent save for the margins.. Corolla white; tube 4–4.5 cm. long, glabrous or pubescent, 1.5–2.5 mm. wide; lobes ovate-oblong, 0.8–1 cm. long, 3–4.5 mm. wide, glabrous inside..
