Leaf-pairs ± erect, not gaping, often puffy, keels ± soft, sometimes crimped [then matching Cheiridopsis crassa L.Bolus, Port Nolloth], epidermis pale greyish white, fuzzy, conspicuously spotted. Flowers solitary, quasi-sessile, petals white to cream, pale rose or rich yellow [Ploegberg]. Fruit 10-14-locular, globose.
