Characteristics

Rhizome 40–80 × 6–10 mm, fleshy. Stems 1–2 mm diam. Leaves 3–6, ovate, 130–350 × 10–20 mm, dark green, shortly stalked. Flower stem 50–18  long, hairy, fleshy, brittle, 1–4-flowered. Flowers opening tardily or not at all, 6–9 × 5–6 mm, white, exterior hairy. Dorsal sepal 5–6 × 3.5–4 mm, projected forwards, hooded. Lateral sepals 5–6 × 4.3–4.5 mm. Petals 5–6 × 2 mm, obliquely erect, slightly divergent. Labellum 8.5 × 7 mm, often partially twisted; base with 1–3 tiny, lobed calli; apex divided into 2 oblong, spreading lobes c. 4 × 3 mm, outer margins toothed.
