Characteristics

Leaves 30–60 × 10–15 mm. Flower stem 70–100 mm long. Flower 30–34 × 4–5 mm, greenish brown, reddish or blackish red; column pale green with red flecks. Dorsal sepal 12–14 × 2–2.5 mm; apical club 3–4 mm long. Lateral sepals decurved beneath labellum, 15–22 × 0.5 mm, divergent; apical clubs 7–10 mm long, yellow or red. Petals reflexed against ovary, 7–9 × 2–2.3 mm. Labellum obliquely erect, trapezium-shaped, 7–10 × 4–5 mm, margins usually recurved, sometimes flat. Callus strongly insect-like, covering most of labellum. Column 5–6 × 2–2.5 mm.
