Characteristics

Leaves 35–85 × 15–23 mm. Flower stem 50–90 mm long. Flower 18–22 × 7–9 mm, green or reddish pink; calli black or reddish, shiny; column green with purple-black blotches. Dorsal sepal incurved, narrowly spathulate, 16–18 × 3–4 mm; apical club 2–2.5 mm long. Lateral sepals recurved beneath labellum, 13–17 × 0.8 mm divergent; apical clubs 4–6 mm long. Petals reflexed against ovary, 11–13 × 3.5–4 mm. Labellum erect then nearly horizontal, trapezium-shaped, 10–12 × 7–8.5 mm, apex blunt. Callus covering basal half of labellum, main gland resembling head of a hammerhead shark or a set of handlebars. Column 9–10 × 3.5–4 mm.
