Characteristics

Leaves broadly elliptic, often nearly round, 25–60 × 15–30 mm. Flower stem 20–30 mm long. Flower held stiffly erect, 18–22 × 18–23 mm, greenish to reddish brown; calli dark reddish; column greenish brown with darker markings. Dorsal sepal broadly spathulate, incurved, 18–22 × 6–8 mm; apical club 2–3 mm long. Lateral sepals projecting forwards beneath labellum, 16–18 × 3–4 mm; apical clubs c. 2 mm long. Petals incurved close to column, 12–13 × 5–6 mm. Labellum obliquely erect, broadly ovate-heart-shaped, 12–13 × 11–12 mm. Calli numerous, densely crowded on central part of labellum. Column 12–13 × 4–5 mm.
