Flowers in condensed or capitate cymes up to 4 cm in diameter, axillary in the uppermost 1–2 whorls of leaves and sometimes appearing terminal; peduncles up to 7 cm long, ± equalling the subtending leaf, long-spreading hairy with indumentum similar to that on the bracts and pedicels; bracts ovate to lanceolate-linear, narrowly attenuate into a long point.
