Conophytum pageae (N.E.Br.) N.E.Br.

Clusters up to 200 mm diam. Leaf-pairs succulent, up to 25 mm long, 35 mm diam., often 1/6 that size, top-shaped, truncate to slightly convex or concave. Epidermis glaucous-green to pale yellowish green, rarely spotted, often wrinkled, fissure usually surrounded with red and sometimes raised like a doughnut. Flowers nocturnal, showy, scented, petals golden yellow, amber, white, rarely pale pink or bright blue, stigmas 4-6.
