Characteristics

Leaves flat, usually 15-40 cm long and 1.5-7 mm wide; lamina striate, glabrous, with a row of small appressed hairs 0.5-2.5 mm long on margins, sometimes sparingly hairy, red-brown at base, green above. Scape 9-25 cm long. Perianth 10-16 mm long, golden or pale yellow, sometimes tinged purplish red; lobes 4.5-8 mm long. Anthers 3.5-5.5 mm long, with appendages. Style 7-11 mm long, ±equal to stamens.
