Characteristics

Much-branched herb with stolons up to 20 cm long. Leaves flat, usually 1.5-2.5 cm long but up to 5 cm, 0.4-0.9 mm wide, grey-tomentose when young, sometimes glabrescent. Inflorescence a capitulate cyme; scape simple, 3-24 cm long, usually much longer than leaves, with a small median scarious tomentose bract. Perianth 7.5-13 mm long, golden yellow; lobes 2.5-6 mm long. Stamens slightly biseriate, erect; anthers 1-2.5 mm long; filaments 1-2 mm long. Style 6.5-9 mm long.
