Characteristics

Leaf-lamina 2·7–8 × 1·5–9·5 cm., broadly ovate in outline, cordate, plane or more or less sinuate, denticulate, rather densely, finely and shortly asperulous beneath, less densely so and becoming scabrid-punctate above, deeply palmately 3–5-lobed, lobes obovate, obovate-elliptic, broadly elliptic or broadly ovate, rounded, apiculate, unlobed or shortly 3-lobulate, the central largest.
