Characteristics

Leaves alternate or rarely subopposite, subsessile or on petioles up to 2 mm. long; lamina up to 2·5 × 1 cm., elliptic to ovate or oblong-ovate, apex acute or obtusely mucronate, base cuneate or rounded; stipules whitish, up to 2·5 mm. long, membranous, ovate.
