Characteristics

A shrub or small tree. It grows 4.5 m high. The branches are short and stout. The young twigs have ashy grey hairs. The leaves are dark green and lobed. They are hairy on the upper surface and have a dense coat of greyish hairs underneath. The flowers are white and in sparse clusters. These are 2 cm long. The fruit are small and red.
