Characteristics

Calyx 13–26 mm. long, campanulate; tube 2–3 mm. long, sparsely hispid, glabrescent; lobes (4)5, narrowly triangular to linear, 11–23 mm. long, scabrous on margins and midribs.

Corolla white or cream or pale blue-pink; tube 15–22 mm. long, gibbous or not, glandular without; limb 8–16 mm. in diam.
Leaves up to 8 x 2 mm., linear, lower rudimentary, entire or rarely with two remote teeth.
Bracteoles usually absent, if present 1–3 mm. long, filiform, inserted on pedicels.
