Succulent subshrub or scrambler, not twining. Stems to 6 mm diam., lacking brachysclereids in cortical tissue; flower-bearing stems 3–4.5 mm diam. Leaves vestigial, early caducous. Inflorescence a racemose cyme; peduncle obsolete. Flowers 2–3 mm long, 6–7 mm diam.; pedicels 1.4–3 mm long. Corolla rotate, cream to cream-green; lobes lanceolate-ovate to ovate, 3–4.3 mm long, 2.2–2.9 mm wide, l:w ratio 1.3–2, glabrous. Annular corona absent; gynostegial corona cream to cream-green; lobes 1.3–1.5 mm long, 0.9–1 mm wide. Follicles 5–7 cm long.
