Characteristics

Herbaceous vine; latex white. Leaves with petiole to 17 mm long; lamina ±fleshy, lanceolate-ovate, to 4.5 long, to 3.5 cm wide, cuneate at base, acuminate; secondary veins 3 or 4 each side of midrib; colleters 2 or 3. Inflorescence of 1 or 2 fascicles. Flowers c. 6 mm long, 6–7 mm diam.; pedicels c. 15 mm long. Sepals lanceolate, 1–1.3 mm long. Corolla rotate, cream; lobes lanceolate, 5–6 mm long, 1.5–2 mm wide, with short indumentum internally. Gynostegial corona of 5 free staminal lobes, cream; lobes c. 1 mm long, c. 1 mm wide, abruptly acuminate. Follicles not seen.
